For almost 20 years, the heart of operations at Lab Plus has been the Sysmex Delphic Lab Information System (LIS), but unfortunately it was unable to provide the operational and management reporting that the ADHB now required.
As the data was not stored in relational tables, generating these kinds of reports was either a labour intensive manual job, or one that required a one-off data extract to be built. Neither option was compelling.
